Pune Airport’s New Terminal Starts Handling All International Flights

All international flights at Pune International Airport will now operate from the new terminal starting December 24. The transition was finalized after a thorough review by airport officials, ensuring a smooth shift for passengers.

Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Murlidhar Mohol, inspected the new terminal along with airport authorities on Monday. According to the Airports Authority of India (AAI), the flights previously managed at the old terminal have been successfully moved to the new facility.

The new terminal is designed to make travel more comfortable and efficient. It features upgraded check-in counters, spacious waiting lounges, and improved security systems. Mohol stated, “Currently, five international flights on three routes operate from Pune Airport, and these have now shifted to the new terminal. Immigration processes are fully set up for smooth international travel.”

This move aims to reduce congestion, improve operations, and provide passengers with modern amenities. Officials have ensured that the terminal is ready to handle all international flights without disruptions.
