Shivajinagar and Deccan to Experience Power Cuts on February 6 for Metro Work

Pune: Residents of Shivajinagar, Deccan, and nearby areas will face a scheduled power outage on Thursday, February 6, between 8 AM and 4 PM. The Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MSETCL) has announced that the electricity supply will be temporarily shut due to essential work on 132 KV underground power lines for the Pune Metro Line-3 project and high-voltage power lines maintenance.

Reason for the Power Outage

As part of the Shivajinagar-Hinjewadi Metro construction, MSETCL is working on high-voltage underground power lines. To facilitate this, the power supply to three major substations—Ganeshkhind, Chinchwad, and GKRS Kothrud—will be turned off.
