Devendra Fadnavis Elected as Maharashtra’s New Chief Minister

In a significant development, Devendra Fadnavis has been confirmed as the new Chief Minister of Maharashtra. During a crucial BJP Legislative Party meeting held today in the presence of central observers, Fadnavis was unanimously elected as the legislative group leader.

The meeting, which was attended by senior leaders including Chandrakant Patil, Sudhir Mungantiwar, Pankaja Munde, and Praveen Darekar, saw a collective proposal and approval of Fadnavis’ leadership. Central observer Vijay Rupani formally announced the decision, sealing the leadership of Fadnavis for Maharashtra.

The legislature echoed with slogans of “Devabhau” as the announcement was made, reflecting the enthusiastic support for Fadnavis. Speaking after his election, Fadnavis expressed his gratitude and remarked on the historic nature of the recent election results. He stated that the results underline the faith people have in leadership and the transformative impact of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision.
