How to register for vaccination?
The Central Government has recently announced vaccination for all persons above the age of 18 years. Accordingly, this vaccination will be started from 1 May. However, the registration process will start from April 28, i.e. from 4 pm today. It will be possible to register on the Kovin app as before. The Central Health Administration said that the registration process would be the same as before. In the earlier stages, the central government introduced vaccination for civilians over 65 years of age and then more than 45 years of age with security personnel and health workers. Phase III vaccination in the country will start from May 1.
The demand for vaccination will increase as vaccination is open to all, and it is expected that the vaccine will be pre-registered to avoid vaccination. Therefore, citizens in the age group of 18-44 can be vaccinated only by registering, the center has said. However, persons over 45 years of age can also be vaccinated by registering at a vaccination center. Citizens between 18 and 44 years of age can register on the ‘Kovin’ or ‘Arogya Setu’ app from 28 April. The vaccination process and documentation will all be the same. How to register for vaccination?
- Go to cowin.gov.in and enter your mobile number
- Fill the OTP on the mobile in the given space and click on Verify.
- Once the OTP is verified, the registration page for the vaccine will open. Fill in your information here and click on Register.
- You will get a message on your mobile that the registration has been successful. After registration, you will be shown the account details. On this page, you can choose an appointment for vaccination.
- A total of 4 people will be allowed to register for vaccination on a mobile number. At the time of registration, it will be necessary to fill in the information of all the members.
- You can also register through the Arogya Setu mobile app. For this, a separate link has been given on the app and you can register by filling in your name, age, gender there.
