This Diwali, Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad residents are in for a treat of melodies, lights, and festive vibes! The popular ‘Swarchaitanya Diwali Pahat’ organized by Lokmat is back with its 12th edition — and this year, the event will be held at five different locations across the city, including Balewadi, Hadapsar, Satara Road, Karvenagar, and Chinchwad.
Diwali mornings in Pune are known for their divine blend of classical music, bhakti geet, and modern tunes — and Lokmat’s Diwali Pahat has become a cultural symbol of this season. Entry is completely free, but visitors must collect passes starting Sunday, 12 October, from various distribution centers in Pune and PCMC.
